According to foreign media reports, Faurecia participated in the Hannover Messe in Germany for the first time this year. The company will display fuel cell solutions at the exhibition to support the transformation of the automotive industry to zero-emission mobility solutions.

Faurecia aims to optimize high-pressure fuel tanks to advance fuel cell technology and stacks for industrialization in the automotive industry. Faurecia devotes considerable technical experience to its system integration, integrating hydrogen storage management, pressure management and fuel cell stack technologies into comprehensive solutions for lightweight and commercial vehicles.(Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment)

Faurecia will showcase two technologies at the show:

High-pressure hydrogen storage system (high-pressure hydrogen storage system):

Faurecia is developing cost-effective lightweight hydrogen tanks (350 & 700-bar) with Stelia Aerospace Composites, which brings the latter’s 30+ years of experience in high-pressure hydrogen storage tanks for the aerospace industry into the partnership .

Faurecia has also invested in Ad-Venta, which provides high-pressure gas management and automotive system integration. The two parties have developed an optimised and compact valve that reduces pressure from 700bars to 10bars in a safe manner in one step.

Fuel cell stack (fuelcellstack):

Faurecia is also working with the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) to gain access to the research and expertise that CEA has acquired over the past 20 years in the development of fuel cell stacks and core components, such as bipolar plates. , this component will play an important role in improving the energy efficiency of the fuel cell stack.

Faurecia's integration of fluid dynamics and catalysts positions Faurecia to develop, mass-produce and market high-performance fuel cell stacks that will meet the expectations of the automotive industry in the future.
