New energy vehicle technology roadmap announces lightweight and intelligent development trend -Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment

The energy-saving and new energy vehicle technology roadmap announcement conference was held in Shanghai on the 26th. The roadmap was commissioned by the National Strategic Advisory Committee for Building a Manufacturing Power and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and was researched and compiled by more than 500 industry experts organized by the my country Society of Automotive Engineering over a year.

According to reports, this technology roadmap plans the development of my country's automotive industry technology in the next 15 years. The overall goal is that by 2030, the total carbon emissions of the automobile industry will peak in 2028, ahead of the country's "2030 peak" commitment. The roadmap proposes to take new energy vehicles and intelligent connected vehicles as important breakthroughs, focus on the optimization and upgrading of energy and power systems, and improve the level of intelligence as the main line, and comprehensively promote the low-cost automobile industry through the support of common technologies such as advanced manufacturing and lightweighting. Carbonization, informatization, intelligence and high quality.(Lithium - Ion Battery Equipment)

In terms of the core power lithium battery of new energy vehicles, the roadmap proposes to focus on the research and development of new system power lithium batteries, significantly increase energy density, significantly reduce costs, and achieve large-scale application of new system power lithium batteries. The roadmap puts forward new requirements for single energy density and battery system cost. Yiwei Lithium Energy (300014, Stock Bar), which is mainly engaged in the design and development of lithium battery products, is expected to produce 1.5GWh lithium iron phosphate lithium battery and 3.5GWh ternary lithium battery by the end of this year. In terms of lightweight technology, the roadmap proposes that by 2030, the amount of aluminum used in bicycles will exceed 350kg, the amount of magnesium alloy used in bicycles will exceed 45kg, and the use of carbon fiber will account for 5% of the vehicle's weight. Yunhai Metal (002182, Stock Bar), as a leading magnesium alloy company, has a magnesium alloy output of 170,000 tons. Magnesium alloys can significantly reduce the weight of automobiles, and the company's products have been used in parts of new energy vehicles.

In addition, in the fields of intelligent connected vehicles and fuel-powered lithium batteries, the roadmap also puts forward clear requirements. Regarding intelligent connected cars, in the near future, we will promote some autonomous driving applications that focus on autonomous environment sensing and are supplemented by connected information services. In the long term, we will promote intelligent technologies that can realize V2X collaborative control and have fully autonomous driving functions. At the end of September, the mobile communications standardization group 3GPP announced that it had completed the formulation of the first version of the Internet of Vehicles (V2X) standard, which will promote the development of the Internet of Vehicles and autonomous driving industry chain. In terms of fuel-powered lithium batteries, the development scale will reach one million vehicles in 2030. At present, Wan'an Technology (002590, Stock Bar) has laid out the ADAS (Advanced Driving Assistance System) industry chain. By joining hands with Haldex, it uses its EMB technology to expand the field of mechatronics.

Judging from the current situation of the industry, new energy vehicles, as a national development strategy, face factors such as declining subsidies and penalties for subsidy fraud, but after standardization and rectification, the industry is still expected to usher in rapid development. In early October, the State Council executive meeting decided that in principle it would no longer approve the establishment of new traditional fuel vehicle production companies. Germany is also gradually restricting the sales of fuel oil vehicles, indicating that new energy vehicles will be a development trend. The announcement of the energy-saving and new energy vehicle technology roadmap further clarifies the development process of new energy vehicles. With the implementation of policies such as subsidy adjustments and points systems, lithium batteries, lightweighting, intelligent driving and other related fields in the new energy vehicle industry chain are expected to usher in rapid development opportunities.
